Share Offer Prospectus
This public share offer is available to you, your family and friends, local groups, organisations, local businesses and other community supporters to invest in a once-in a-generation chance to safeguard our pub at the heart of the community, the Waldegrave Arms East Harptree. This new document has an Addendum which now reflects the updated proposals for the Society including a change to the terms of the original prospectus. If you are considering buying shares it is important you read this document.
Financial Projections
As part of the updated Share Offer and Addendum there are new financial projections including Cash flow, Balance Sheets and P&L. These supercede the historic projections included in the original share offer prospectus.
Business Plan
Our business plan outlines how East Harptree Community Benefit Society Limited could save the Waldegrave Arms pub from being closed. Our vision is for the Waldegrave Arms to be a vibrant food, drink, and social destination, where everyone is welcome. A local that helps village life thrive.
Shares application form
If you'd like to support the purchase of the Waldy please fill out a shares application form and transfer funds via a bank account transfer (with your initial and surname as the reference) to ‘East Harptree Community Benefit Society Limited’, Unity Trust Bank, sort code 60-83-01 account number 2049 4162 or send a cheque to: Potts Cottage, High Street, East Harptree BS40 6AY. Paper application forms are available in the shop and if you need support filling one out, please send us an email to waldegrave.arms.ca@gmail.com.
EHCBS Model Rules
East Harptree Community Benefit Society is registered under the law as a society for the benefit of the community with the Financial Conduct Authority. Our key mission is to acquire the freehold of the Waldegrave Arms and to secure it as an asset and resource of the Society for the benefit of the community of East Harptree now and in the future. These Rules set out the way in which the Society is owned, organised and governed.
The Business Plan and Share Offer Prospectus have been awarded the Community Share Standard Mark. This is awarded by an independent assessor to share offers that meet the Community Shares Unit’s standards of good practice. This rigorous process means we can launch our share offer with confidence.
